Medieval Generals is a free multiplayer grand strategy tile based browser game in which you take the
part of a
wealthy family and join an already established kingdom to service the
kingdom with Generals to command the Kingdom's armies. Your Generals may become
powerful enough to bid for the Kingdom's throne and become rulers of the same Kingdom
OR establish a Kingdom of their own.

We are always streamlining the game to be more playable.
We would like to thank our players for certain suggestions and bugs reported and would like to excuse ourselves for any inconvinience. Keep rocking.

For the time being only a fantasy world scenario is included. In the future we
will include also a real world scenario setting the scene from the Crusades.
Factions to include:- Kingdom of England, Holy Roman Empire, Roman Empire, Seljuk Turks, Crusader states...many more.
More kingdoms will be added in the future for the fantasy world.
Changes in process
- Generals and Admirals are going to be seperated. Reasons being that is not realistic at all. Ships cannot be transported from one end to the other. Before it was taken that the ships simply move by the coast and keeps in the contact with the army. But what if the coast is patrolled by another fleet? Now to add more spice to the game you need to maintain a fleet and a army separately.
Newest changes
- Conquering tiles - This has changed a bit. Now when conquering enemy tiles, if
there is a castle or city up to level 5 within a range of one tile then the tile
cannot be conquered unless the influencing castle/city is captured. Cities with
level 6 or greater have an influence of 2 tile range.
- Sieges - Due to the above now blockading a city has to be with Army camps or
Generals. To be able to start a siege you have to first set up Army
camps/Generals on each city's friendly tile.
- Assualting cities - To capture a city a general requires that a least 1 unit in
the army has a siege engine/tower. Only the unit with the Siege tower will be
able to assualt the city. Siege engines can be build from a city and the same as
other upgrades can be upgraded according to the level of the city. Beware though
Siege engines would slow your army.
